hi guys,
So starting from the last conculusion I think we as Sudanese in our various positions are challenged by deciding which fate we want to have and it is not something that may come accidentally it is something we work for.
I have read in other post in which Tumadir was giving a sort of historical apology to the southerners for the wrong doings that were done by governers who are the zealous of Islamoarabian. I have written along comment and unfortnately it couldn't be posted due to technical difficulties and I think we are all here about one problem with different faces, so I think it is valuable to include my comment on that with in this comment. I observed that Bayan and some others who wrote somthing smell different from the concolusion they usally arrived to, but for the sake of developing the discussion in this board let us consider that every body has the good will regardless what they may deeply harm by digging in the same wounds with same master ideologies which are the real causes for the disastrous ongoing situation that the nations are facing, so let us say that every body wants Unified Sudan with social peace, clean avenues, fast food beaches, that sounds perfect I also want, dream and fight for this clean Sudan, but practically there is a question that should be answered; How this will happen? It is a twisted logic if not contradiction to say in our concolusions that we want to live in peace and and love each other, but at the same time we don't want to admit our horrible historical mistakes, and if there is some one killed for no doubt there is doer I mean a killer, so is it fair to say the victim and the doer share the same responsibity in what was happened - i think this wrong approach and it will lead for wrong concolusion, we are in the results of wrong built system, and the whole disasters are the natural consequences for the main problem, i see nothing objective in considering the symptoms as the problem and we all know the syptoms are always an indication to a disease, therefore, the war in the field and the war of our vissions in this board are the symptoms for the Sudan's historical sicknesses.
I believe if the war as the symtoms for the problem has a cost, the the real peace that will go beyond the ceasion of the fire to be rooted in our daily life as social security, also has the a cost, and i think the peace is more expensive than the war, in war all what you need is to train people how to kill and provide them with weapons and bullets, food is not a matter the nature will take care of them, what about the peace, we need to change our behaviors, knowing that little things can make a bigger change, bearing in mind that to chnage our behaviors to accept each other in a country like Sudan is to fight with our ideologies, I believed that most of you are a ware that changing people behavior is more difficult than train people to hold a gun.
If we have to go ahead with the asumptions that I have mentioned in the bigining that we all want peaceful and clean Sudan, let us ask another question what is the dominant elements contributions as cultures Imean what was supposed to be expected from the bearer of the Islamoarabian culture in order to put the country in the peace path?
We could say for Garang in South, Beja in East, Darfour revolutionaries and may be many other
1- wait a minute
2-cease fire, hold on ,
3-put down your gun
4- let us solve all the problem and live to gether.
many of us think it is so simple to come up with the formula that work in No 4. the realty is something different - I have read some where in this board that there are some peole that thier first wish in this world is to apply the Shariaa laws on the Sudan, and those who? the ones who are to be the intellectuals of the Islamoarabian, the major partner in peace making, not to be missunderstood I don't bother ; anybody is free to wish what so ever he wants, but still your wishes tell us what a kind of person you are, how it will be beautiful if that person siad - I wish that the first thing to happen in this world is to stop discriminating each other as human and every one of us has something to full his stomack.
So we have a long way to go with changing our behavior. but I want to ask ; what will be expected from the dominant elements, in the centre, I mean what they have to do to contribute in creating the social peace and this in the level of personal arena not the level of the system and the state, that one is the challenge of the peace negociators??
1- Change your behavior, how and from what to what, stop considering that you have the historical immunity, beacuse you have a blue blood, and even if you think you have this blood, please do not take your perception about yourself to exploit what is supposed to be national property, and give me the same right to think i'm also have yellow blood.
2-Practically there will be a major change in the capital movement and other things related to the power and the state- never ever forget that most of the peole who make money in Sudan if not Africa at all this because of thier relations in different levels to the governments in different eras- so are you ready to lose the trade of the spare parts and many other stuff.
3-The Islamoarabian in personal behavior; are they realy believe that they can live with the other relegions, cultures and races with all possibilities to consider that they are one element within a lot regardless how many they are or how powerfull they are? this will lead to the democracy in the cultural level and this one of the preconditions for achieving the peacefull clean Sudan or call it what so ever you like new Sudan or any. This means there will be laws that reflect our situation and no body will have the right to asume that there is any holly laws wether they are the Sharia or any other- every thing will be revised and decided by us as Sudanese nations and the Islamoarabian are just one with in many even if they are 10 millions, this what we mean by the Cultural Democracy. so please think and rethink to come up with the sollution- and specifically how to convince what is so called Olama Almoslimin that the way they think Islam will keep this relegion to be uncivilized relegion, because instead of solving our daily life problem by bringing the holly time of Elmadina State to our current time they are always want to take us back 14 centuries which is inaplicable and impossible, we need revolutionary thinking in all aspects of our lives starting from relegions to the use of the Nile water.
