We appeal to you all to come to the assistance of the City of Kassala which was devastated by the floods of the "Gash" river. Over 80% of the city was destroyed, tens of thousands of families became homeless, all barriers protecting the city have been smashed and the city is now exposed to further destruction and catastrophe. Please contact the closest aid group to you working directly in the area to channel your help to the right people in Kassala.
The Sudanese Community in Washington DC appeal to you to donate with money to help our people in Kassala. We are not looking for much, one dollar will help alot.
