It is very interesting to read this piece by you after reading -with a mix of surpirse, probably disgust, and other feelings and confused ideas- the piece of news I quote below in today's National Post of Toronto!



Quote: Psychiatrist suspended for 'serious breach of trust' A disciplinary panel of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario has suspended a Toronto psychiatrist for four months after he asked to see one of his patient's breasts and called another woman a "piece of (__)."

I could not find the rest of the article online. I really wish I could bring the part that reflected how "Mr. Psychiatrist" attempted to manipulate his patient, who insisted on refusing to do what he asked for.
This happens in a country where women, and women patients (double weakness as percieved by some) can at least say NO.

Reading the quoted article today immediately gave me flashbacks from my med-school years, where one "professor" -for not a single logical reason- gave himself the right to fondle his obstetric patient's breasts in a very mechanical, literally unconscious way while "teaching" us something completely unrelated!!
