Announcement re the participation of vice president of the regime of the Sudan in the international conference of federalism.

The Sudanese vice president Ali Osman M. Tah was invited by the Belgian government to participate in the international conference of federalism. We, Darfurians in Diaspora, would like to clarify to the internal community as well as Sudanese community abroad the undisputed facts:
1) The visit coincides with disclosure of various facts. The Janjawid leader Musa Hilal explicitly verified to the international media, formally know by many, that he only executed the commands of the top Sudanese government leaders. Adequate facts and evidences have been disclosed showing a clear involvement of the arbitrary and notorious regime of Khartoum in the crimes against humanity, war crimes and systematically organized ethnic-cleansing campaigns in Darfur. International organizations are calling for bringing those who have committed gross crimes against humanity to justice.
2) Pretending to be a peace activist, Taha is desperately struggling to merchandise the woefully abhorrent deeds of the Khartoum regime while the Ianjawid militia and government forces continue destroying villages, killing and raping innocent people, air raiding the inhabited areas and arbitrarily arresting and liquidating Darfurians. As an exemplary, University teacher Ibtihal Abdelrahim Mohamado was recently cowardly assassinated by the cold blooded regime intelligence personnel in the town of Nyala.

Despite the stained history characterized by the horrible violations against humanity and human beings, international community receives the leader of notorious regime, Ali Osma Taha, with open arms to represent Sudansese people who he has no regret in annihilating them. This constituted dehumanization of millions of Darfurians who painfully have suffered and are still suffering from the regime’s deeds.

We, Darfurians in Belgium, request the international community to take it’s responsibilities towards Darfurians. International community has to put pressure on the Sudanese regime to cease its campaign of mass killings. It has to provide adequate protection to the fragile population by sending international force. It has to work to bring the perpetrators, with the leadership of Ali Osman Taha, to justice to International Criminal Court. It has to work to come up with comprehensive political and just solution to the Darfur issue within Security Council after the failure of AU.
Meanwhile we strongly condemn the negative positions of some nations towards Darfur issue such as China and Russia.
