Sudan condemns the terrorist attack on the French newspaper

    Jan 09, 2015-Khartoum-SudaneseOnline-Sudan condemned the terrorist attack on the French newspaper, Charlie Hebdo, which killed 12 people, including 4 cartoonists and two police officers after newspaper published images considered offensive to the Prophet Mohamed
    The deputy head of bilateral relations department at Sudan’s Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Abdel Basit al Sanosi, transmitted to the French Ambassador Bruno Aubert in Khartoum on Thursday, Sudanese government condemn to terrorist attack on the French newspaper, stressing that Khartoum denounces the terrorist events that do not represent Islam and have nothing to do with it
    The Sudanese diplomat pointed out that such terrorist attacks are results of the political tensions in the Middle East, calling the need for the international efforts to work hard to resolve the chronic political problems in the region and put an end to their effects.
    For his part, the French Ambassador said that his country considered the attack as a terrorist attack which had nothing to do with Islam and Muslims, noting that French police are still investigating into the incident to find the perpetrators, confirming the good bilateral relations between Sudan and France.
    At the meeting, they discussed strengthening bilateral relations in all fields, and coordination and mutual support between the two countries in the various international forums
    The two suspects in the killing of 12 at the offices of satire cartoon magazine Charlie Hebdo may have been spotted not far from Dammartin-en-Goele twice before.
    On Thursday, they followed a lead from a gas station attendant near Villers-Cotterets, whom Cherif Kouachi, 32, and Said Kouachi, 34, reportedly threatened, as they stole gas and food and then drove off.
