Sudan’s President stresses that security of Saudi Arabia is a red line

    Sudan’s President, Omar al-Bashir, has stressed that the security of Saudi Arabia and Two Holy Mosques is a red line for Sudan, while King of Saudi Arabia, Salman Bin Abdel Aziz directed Saudi funds and investors to fully support Sudan during the next phase
    During their talks in Riyadh, Al-Bashir and Abdel Aziz discussed the bilateral relations and ways to support and strengthen them in various fields, besides the regional and international developments.
    Sudan’s presidential spokesman, Mohamed Hatim Suleiman, said in press statements on Thursday that Al-Bashir stressed Sudan's readiness to implement Arab food security initiative, pointing out that the two parties exchanged views on the current situation of Arab and risks surrounded Arabic nation, noting that Al-Bashir confirmed that the security and safety of Two Holy Mosques and Saudi Arabia is a red line for Sudan.
    For his part, Saudi King welcomed Al-Bashir's visit, praising the excellent relations between Khartoum and Riyadh, stressing his country’s readiness for cooperation with Sudan in all fields in the interests of the two countries, adding that they would be in full cooperation with Sudan and hoped Sudan's security, prosperity and stability.
    According to Sudan’s presidential spokesman, King Salman directed Saudi Government and Saudi funds and investors to offer the full support to Sudan in the coming period, adding that the Kingdom is interested in development of relations with Sudan and is interested in the security and stability of Sudan.
