The Arab Alliance for Sudan demands release of political detainees

Khartoum-The Arab Alliance for Sudan has called for releasing all political detainees or bringing them to justice.

The Arab Alliance has renewed all human rights advocacy groups, local regional, international organizations and all Sudanese people to join the 90-day campaign under the motto” Freedom is right not gift” to collect signatures in order to put pressures on the regime in Khartoum to set free all political detainees.

The Arab Alliance has shown grave concern over the fate of a number of detainees and political prisoners. The Arab Alliance said the security has been implementing systematic arrest campaigns against human rights activists, politicians and students in Khartoum and South Kordofan states since the beginning of this month.
