Over 3000 houses collapse in Khartoum

Khartoum-More than 3000 houses have been destroyed in Khartoum state due to the rains that hit the state recently. The Ministry of Education has announced postponement of resumption of the study for another week. The electricity in a number of the residential areas in Khartoum has gone off.

According to a ad-hoc committee, the numbers of the affected houses in Jebel Awlia locality reached 350, 126 in Bahri , 50 in Sharg Al-nil, 1510 in Ombada, over 880 in Omdurman locality and 95 in Karari.
