JEM abducts 8 oil engineers

Khartoum-A Justice and Equality Movement force has kidnapped 8 engineers of the Greater Nile Petroleum Operation Company in an area between Al-Mujlad and Hejlij, sources said on Saturday.

High-level sources have affirmed that the 8 abudctees include three foreigners, saying that it has taken them to the South Sudan state border.

According to the same sources, the commander of the abduction group is called Hashim Jinzir who attacked the engineers’ location with three armed vehicles. They added that the rebels abducted van of one of the traders in Al-Mujlad town.

The armed forces and other regular forces have intensified the chasing operations to .rescue the abducted engineers and arrested the culprits
