خرج في ذاك اليل البهيم وهو ينشد إحدى المغارات النائية التي تخبأ في تلك الهضبة في وسط الصحراء ، وتبعد عدة كيلومترات من المنطقة التي يقطن فيها ، كان الليل يضرب بأطنابه أركان الوجود ، ولم يكد يسمع من الأصوات سوى حفيف الرياح التي تهب اعلى أوراق تلك الشجيرات الذابلة التي أنهكتها لفح هجير النهار في تلك الصحراء القاحلة ، وبعض الأنات الواهنة لصراصير الليل التي تراصت على جنبات تلك الصحراء وهي ترتل آيات من كتاب الفناء ، ومن على البعد تتردد إلي مسامعه بعض الأصوات الخافتة التي لم تتضح مفرداتها . كانت السيارة تطوي الارض طيا وهي تسابق الافلاك في مداراتها وتداعب همسات الخيال ، كانت دقات قلبه تكاد تخفي صوت محرك سيارته العملاقة التي شقت بأزيزه سكون الليل ، كانت عيناه تكاد تنخلع من محجريهما من فرط الرعب ، حيث تثور غريزة الخوف عنده كلما بدا له من على الآفاق جسم من الأجسام المضيئة التي تحلق في تخوم تلك الصحراء وهي تتشكل في مخيلته بصور هلامية غير منتظمة توحي إليه بمارد من الجن يقترب منه لإبتلاعه وسيارته ، فيطلق العنان لسيارته متحديا تلك الكثبان الرملية الكثيفة التي تطوق إطارات سيارته ، كان يحمل معه بعض الحبوب المهدئة التي يزدردها بين الفينة والاخرى كلما أجتاحت موجات الرعب قلبه ، ظلت أفكاره تتسكع مابين مهابة الفناء وأمل البقاء وهو لا يستطيع أن يجزم عما إذا كان سيكتب له البقاء فينال مأربه ، أو أن تلتهمه فك القدر في جوف تلك الصحراء الموغلة فيمحى من ذاكرة الوجود ،فبين هذا التوجس وذاك التحسس لاح له بصيص من نور الامل ، وهو يشق ببؤبؤ عينيه سرابات الظلام ، أبصر هضبة شامخة تطل من فوق تلك الكثبان الرملية التي تحيط بتلك الصحراء إحاطة السوار بالمعصم وهي تقف في دلال كأنها الأبنة الوحيدة للطبيعة ، وقد أحاطت تلك الهالة السوداء من ظلمة الليل بها فأزداد المكان وحشة وغربة ورعبا ، أقتربت السيارة من تلك الهضبة الموحشة ودارت حولها دورة كاملة ، وتوقفت على بعد أمتار من باب تلك المغارة المخيفة ، كانت الروائح الغريبة تنبعث من تلك المنافذ الحجرية الصغيرة ، تنحى عن السيارة في بطء شديد تكاد قدماه لا تقويان على حمله من هول ما يرى ، فما هي إلا لحظات حتى تسمر على بعد أقدام من باب المغارة وهو ينصت إلي تلك الهمهمات والتمتمات الصادرة من أعماق تلك المغارة ، ثم سمع صوت أجش مرعب يناديه بأسمه (يا هسن جبت القروش) فيجيب حسن بصوت مرتعش نعم فيقول الصوت الأجش الصادر من أعماق المغارة ( خليك مكانك هتى الصباح أشان الروهاني هينزل بعض منتسف الليل وبكورا مع السباح هتشيل القوروش كلو عشرة ملايين دولار؟) فما ان سمع صاحبنا بمبلغ العشرة ملايين دولار حتى تبددت تلك المخاوف من حوله فسرح بخياله بعيدا ورسم مدنا من الأحلام حول تلك الصحراء القاحلة؟؟! ثم أن أصوات أخرى مرعبه لفتت إنتباهه (شمشروخ مجالخ داهوشا) ثم أعقبته هزة عنيفة أجتاحت تلك المغارة سقط على إثرها مغشيا عليه ولم يفق من إغماءته إلا ضحى يوم الثاني بعد أن سطعت الشمس فوق رأسه ، فأنتصب مفزوعا كأنما وخزته شوكة وهو يلتفت يمنة ويسرة دون ان يستبين أثرا لشئ سوى تلك السيارة التي تركن في عمق الصحراء، وتلك الحقيبة الحديدية و التي كانت تحوى بداخلها مبلغ مليون دولار وهي فارغة تماما وملقى بها فوق تلك الكثبان الرملية، صعد صاحبنا إلي السيارة وأدار محركها وتوغل بها في عمق الصحراء؟؟
